Camp Rimrock
The Presbytery of South Dakota operates two camping sites in the beautiful Black Hills. Our first site, Camp Rimrock, is a 20 acre developed camp and retreat center. Rimrock offers a lodge for dining and year round retreat accommodations. We also have 7 cabins, which children of all ages stay in during the summer. Our focus is family reunions, summer camps and retreats. Rimrock also offers beautiful natural surroundings – Rapid Creek, which is great for fishing; two chapel areas, hiking, tubing, sand volleyball, and a craft/game building. Our second site, Pioneer Camp, is approximately 190 acres of pristine wood and meadowland property! Rapid Creek runs through this property, as does the George S. Michelson trail. Camp Pioneer is ideal for primitive camping, and offers the perfect location to jump on and off the Michelson Trail. We are in an ideal location being within an hour of Crazy Horse, Custer Park and Mount Rushmore. The Black Hills has great nature, great hiking and recreation, and great community. We’re blessed to be a part of it!
